Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of the service. By using Hullect, you agree to what follows.
These terms set out how the service may be used, what each side is responsible for, and the limits that apply. They are specific to a product that contacts your customers and handles payment data on your behalf.
The service
Hullect tracks unpaid invoices, sends reminders you approve, predicts likely late payment, tracks promises and disputes, and reconciles incoming payments. Features available to you depend on the plan you are on.
Your account
You are responsible for the accounts and access of people on your team, for keeping login details secure, and for the accuracy of the data you connect or upload.
Acceptable use
- Use the service only for collecting genuine amounts owed to you.
- Send reminders only to customers you have a lawful basis to contact.
- Do not use the service to harass, mislead or threaten any recipient.
- Respect every opt-out and honor the sending limits you configure.
Communications and compliance
You approve the templates and set the schedules used to contact your customers. Rules for debt-related messaging differ by market, and you confirm the rules that apply to you. The service holds sending inside the limits you set, but you remain responsible for the lawfulness of contacting your customers.
A person on disputes
When a customer contests an invoice, the service pauses automated messaging for that account and routes it to a person. Resolving disputes and deciding what a customer owes remains your responsibility.
Payments and reconciliation
Confident payment matches are applied automatically and uncertain ones are queued for confirmation. Reconciliation is a convenience to speed your process; your books and financial records remain the source of truth.
Fees
Fees are based on the plan you choose, which scales with your open invoice volume. Plans renew on a subscription basis until cancelled in line with your agreement.
Availability
We work to keep the service available and reliable, but it is provided on an as-is basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. We may update features over time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from use of the service is limited to the fees you paid for it in the period concerned. The service does not provide legal or financial advice.
Ending the service
You may stop using the service in line with your plan. On termination we will make your data available for a reasonable period before it is removed, subject to any records we must keep.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the service evolves. Where changes are material, we will make them clear before they take effect.
